All vehicles are fully insured but with and Excess amount depending on the type of car you hire please see table below:

Group A to E1 Excess amount €550

Group F to G1 Excess amount €700

Group H to M Excess amount €950

In case of damage to the rented car the driver is liable for the excess amount unless he/she has paid for extra cover to reduce the excess amount or have zero excess.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THIS LOCATION:

Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim. Any use of the vehicle in a dangerous manner or illegal purpose or when it is damaged or unsafe is prohibited.

Minimum age of driver is 25 years old, maximum - no limit if the customer had valid driving license

Customers renting cars in Greek part of Cyprus are not covered from our insurance if they drive to the Turkish side. They need to buy insurance on the borders, but in case of the accident and/or breakdowns over there we cannot provide any help to the customer.

We are informing our customers that by driving our cars to the Turkish part they do it on their own risk. In case of any damage done to the car on the Northern part of Cyprus customers have to pay for it, no matter if their fault or not and then deal with the insurance at the North part of Cyprus

We offer one way rentals. The surcharge for one way rental is €30.00.

Any charge which may occur for delivery/pick up of the car out of the working hours of our local partner will be shown during the booking procedure. Out Of Hours Drop off : Any charge which may occur for collection/drop off of the car out of the working hours of our local partner will be shown during the booking procedure.

Petrol Policy: To be returned the same; this only applies to customers with credit card guaranteed

or: customer pays for petrol and returns empty tank

Charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important of which are the following: Antenna, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, glass, mirrors, wheels, tires, interior of the car, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, warning triangles, damage to upholstery of a car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof rack and any luggage on it, extreme dirtiness in a car, underside damage, personal belongings in a rented car, damage due to negligence, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices, loss of car documents, loss of registration plate.

The car rental company, in any case, is not obligated to replace a flat tire or damages in music devices (radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.). Towing costs are not covered by any insurance. Oasis Rent a Car Ltd will not refund any telephone, taxi or hotel costs.

Oasis Rent a Car Ltd will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving, driving without care and attention or damages caused by negligence. The client will accept direct responsibility in respect of such claims. Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.

Oasis Rent a Car Ltd may offer extra insurances to cover some of the above exclusions. Local laws govern the terms and conditions of hiring vehicles and the rental contract signed on collection of the car is legally binding to the hirer.

Turkish part of Cyprus:

You may take the car to the Turkish part of Cyprus, but please be aware that it is 100% your responsibility to bring back the car to the Greek part of the island. The car will only have a third party, limited, insurance that is arranged by Turkish police when crossing the borders.

You may cancel your reservation within 3 days of making the booking and receive a full refund

Cancellations after 3 days will be charged the total rental cost.
